Our timetable enables students across the world, from New Zealand to Peru, to join this course.

What will you learn?

This course will take you on a 2,000-year journey through British history, focusing on some of the most important events across all three nations of Great Britain – England, Scotland and Wales.

We will meet key historical figures including William the Conqueror, King John, William Wallace, Queen Victoria and many more!

The course focuses on experiential discovery, learning about these influential figures by visiting the places they lived and worked in, with virtual walking tours, class discussions and research projects.

In addition, each student will share a presentation on their country and culture. This will help our students to improve their public speaking, presentation skills and listening skills as well as develop an awareness of global cultures.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Investigate British history and culture, including Roman Britain, Medieval Britain, the role of the Monarchy and how British Parliament works.
  • Explore key figures in British history.
  • Discover the histories and cultures of England, Scotland and Wales by exploring their similarities and differences.
  • Understand different cultures and interact with students from across the world in our global classroom environment.
