This course is for 15 to 18-year-old students.

What will you learn?

Our Public Speaking course will help you work on delivering engaging speeches and presentations with confidence. This vital skill will help you in your future workplace, giving you the ability to speak in all contexts, from a formal speech in front of a huge audience to a presentation in front of your classmates or work colleagues.

By the end of this course, you will have:

• Discovered what makes a good speech
• Learnt how to deal with nerves and how to improve your voice quality
• Understood the importance of pacing, pausing and signposting as well as engaging and interacting with the audience
• Picked up a few tricks on how to memorise prompt cards and slides
• Delivered a speech on a topic you are passionate about
